ROLEX GROUPE SECURITE PRESIDENCE DE LA REPUBLIQUE

Le Groupe de Sécurité de la Présidence de la République (G.S.P.R) crée par François Mitterrand en 1983 et dissous par Nicolas Sarkozy en 2007, était composé de 30 Gendarmes d'élite, tous issus du GIGN et de policiers . Ce groupe avait pour vocation la protection rapprochée du Président de la République lors de tous ses déplacements. compter du 16 Mai 2007, date de l'investiture du président Nicolas Sarkozy, il est mis fin, de fait, à la mixité police-gendarmerie au sein de l'unité. Les 30 gendarmes qui composaient le détachement gendarmerie du GSPR quittent l'lysée et sont remplacés par des policiers, sélectionnés au sein du Service de protection des hautes personnalités (SPHP) ou du RAID..

En 2009, 30 exemplaires ont été réalisés afin de commémorer l'existence mais également la fin de cette prestigieuse section.
Les caractéristiques de ce modèle exclusif sont la présence du blason du GSPR réalisé en argent et en émail, et le fond de boîte avec l'insigne du groupement, le numéro de série limité ainsi que les années de création et de disparition du groupe.

Cette montre qui sera mise à la vente est représentée et répertoriée dans le célèbre ouvrage de Guido Mondani "Steel Rolex Acciaio".
