Saturday, June 08, boaters and boating professionals had set up an appointment in Golfe-Juan to acquire one of the 3 boats put up for sale by Maître Besch.

Commissioned by AGRASC (Agency of management and recovery of seized and confiscated assets), this legal sale, in preparation for long months, took place at Port Camille Rayon on the Rodriguez yards. From 10:00 in the morning, visits followed one another under a radiant sun.

In the middle of the afternoon, bidders and curious people took their places on leopard 27 "Bono", the only one of the 3 yachts put on hold, where Maître Besch’s team had set up their offices, giving to this event a "little holiday look". Assisted by Mr José Fernandez, Member of the National Chamber of Marine Experts, Maître Besch began the auction by presenting the legal framework of this exceptional sale and the history of the 3 yachts.

The auction of the 3 lots began in a very friendly and warm atmosphere. The bidders, who were previously registered, raised the bids by telephone, through the Interencheres website and in the auction room, not to say “on deck”. Lot No. 1 – Leopard 27 “BONO” was sold for €212,000 excluding taxes (for an estimate of €120,000), Lot 2 – Leopard 23 Sport Soft Top “Atlas” €152,000 excluding taxes (for an estimate of €80,000) and Lot 3 – Sarnico €65 “Yes” €185,000 excluding taxes (for an estimate of €100,000). In addition to these auctions, 34.4% VAT and sales fees are charged.

All the yachts have found a buyer. All that remains is to wish the new owners "good luck".
