Wines from Australia and the United States
Wines from Australia and the United States

No less than two days of sales in Cannes will be devoted to wines (Besch Cannes Auction OVV. M. Kuzniewski). On August Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th, hundreds of bottles from the Romanée-Conti estate and the great names of Bordeaux such as Petrus, Mouton-Rothschild, Latour and Cheval-Blanc will be on display. But some bottles will have made a much longer journey.

From Australia comes a bottle of Henschke Hill of Grace, in the Eden Valley, from 1999, listed at 400/600€, two Penfolds Grange Hermitage from 1983 and 1995, at 600/800€ each; or, from Napa Valley in the United States, a 1993 Harlan Estate estimated at 800/1000€ and a 2000 Dominus, at 200/250€.
