On April Friday 18 and Saturday 19, the Hôtel Martinez in Cannes will be hosting two sales on the theme of fine wines and spirits (Besch Cannes Auction OVV). The auction will feature a wide range of wines from some of Burgundy's finest estates (M. Kuzniewski). The first auction will feature this original wooden case, hooped before appraisal, containing six bottles of Domaine de la Romanée Conti from the 2010 vintage. Expect to pay between 30000€ and 35000€ for a Romanée Conti, a La Tâche, a Richebourg, an échézeaux and a Montrachet.
These grands crus are characterised by small harvests. In 2010, only 2028 bottles were produced from the Montrachet vineyard, this one numbered 01827, and only 11323 bottles from the Richebourg vineyard, this one numbered 10023.
