Sales from December 27th to 31st, 2025 : General press release

Interior of the Cannes apartment
Interior of the Cannes apartment
signed by Jules Leleu

From December 27th to 29th, 2395 lots of fine wines and spirits will be offered at auction. Among them are rare and superb bottles from Pierre Overnoy, a great winemaker from the Jura region. We are particularly fond of this winemaker, who has inspired many young winegrowers in their search for healthy wines that respect nature. No sulphur or pesticides. An exceptional lot of 12 cases from the Duclot collection, sold together and estimated at 66000€ to 76000€, will also feature in the sales.

On December 30th, two major collections will be in the spotlight. The first is an exceptional testimony to 20th-century French decorative art : the furniture of an apartment in Cannes, preserved in its original configuration, entirely designed and decorated on site by Jules Leleu (1883-1961).

The second is that of a collector from Cannes : it presents a different universe, revealing a unique and daring perspective. It brings together works by Valerio Adami (born in 1935), Arman (1928-2005), Sacha Sosno (1937-2013), Combas (born in 1957) and a Mazarin desk attributed to Nicolas Sageot (1666-1731). The collection captivates with its eclecticism, elegance and the strength of the choices that compose it.

Alongside them will be works by : LÊ PHÔ (1907-2001), Charles CAMOIN (1879-1965), Maurice UTRILLO (1883-1955), Moise KISLING (1891-1953), Hans HARTUNG (1904-1989), Pierre ALECHINSKY (born in 1927), among others.

The last day of the year, December 31st, will be entirely devoted to the sale of a collection of 16 vintage Rolex watches with highly sought-after references, an exceptional collection of fancy coloured diamonds and a rare pair of cufflinks by Alexander Calder (1898–1976).
