The Domaine de la Romanée-Conti in the spotlight
This summer wine auction day gave, once again, the opportunity to lovers of prestigious wines, more and more numerous in France and abroad, to buy magnificent bottles.
This vacation was dedicated to the sale of several cellars of very wise individuals in the matter of great wines of Burgundy, Bordeaux, Rhône, Champagne or even of spirits.
Rare and exceptional bottles of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti
Very popular today around the world, the best wines from Burgundy were the subject of many bids starting with the rare and exceptional bottles of the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (among others, 3 Romanée-Conti 2005, 2009 and 2010 sold 59770 € - lots 552 to 554, 2 Romanée-Conti 1973 for 20585 € - lots 179 and 180, 2 of La Tâche 1999 for 12150 € - lots 555 and 556, 1 bottle of Montrachet 1997 sold 6325 € - lot 567 or 2 Montrachet 2005 for 14880 € - lots 568 and 569). The rare wines from domaines Leroy, Rousseau (3 Chambertin 2006 for 5210 € - lot 571), Roumier (1 magnum Bonnes-Mares 2002 for 4340 € - lot 348), Dujac, Raveneau (6 Chablis Clos 2010 sold 4340 € - lot 325), Leflaive, Mugnier, Roulot or Coche-Dury were also offered.
Petrus, great wine of Pomerol
From the Bordeaux area, we could find Petrus, great wine of Pomerol, represented on many vintages (4 bottles from 1995 sold 9425 €- lot 116, 4 bottles from 1996 for 9425 € - lot 117, 1 from 1990 for 4215 € - lot 482 or 1 from the excellent 2000 for 4465 € - lot 407) and the major Crus Classés wines of the region in original wooden cases including 12 bottles of Château Mouton Rothschild 1981 sold 3970 € - lot 250 or 12 of Châteaux Margaux 1988 for 4340 € - lot 582. The large bottles were also offered with in particular 1 imperial of Château Mouton Rothschild 2013 sold 4280 € - lot 343, another of the 1990 vintage for 5210 € - lot 436, 1 double-magnum Château Lafite Rothschild 1989 for 3720 € - lot 431.

Great wines from the Rhône, from Champagne (6 bottles Champagne S 1999 Salon sold 3225 € -lot 1), rare spirits including 1 Whisky Astrum 40 ans «The Dalmore» sold 6325 € - lot 483, 12 bottles of Cointreau for 6015 € - lot 632 and many rare and old bottles of chartreuses collected by great amateurs (1 Yellow Period 1904-1930 Tarragona for 6450 € - lot 489, 1 Yellow Aging Exceptional 1940 Voiron for 6570 € - lot 525 or 1 Yellow Aging Exceptional 1944 Voiron for 8680 € - lot 524 or even ½ bottle of Green Chartreuse Period 1904-1930 Tarragona for 7440 € - lot 529 ) allowed everyone to find their happiness at all costs while waiting for the next beautiful vacation on Wednesday 14 August 2019.
