December Friday 27 marked a major first for Besch Cannes Auction OVV, which devoted its sale to a single cellar of yellow and green chartreuses, representing 650 bottles divided into 489 lots. Built up over more than twenty years, this collection presented a wide range of the Carthusian fathers' liqueur, from 1903 to the present day. This non-vintage bottle of yellow Chartreuse from the "Tarragona of the Century" series changed cellars for 10912€. (M. Kuzniewski).
This limited edition cuvée (n° 127/512) was created by the monks in collaboration with Olivier Poussier, the world's best sommelier in 2000, and marketed in 2007. Titrating 37.7°, it is a blend of several vintages, from 1906 to 1980.
